Just Wood Leicestershire on ‘Love your Garden’!
Just Wood Leicestershire CIC, a social enterprise in the Community Wood Recycling network, has been chosen to provide an unusual playhouse for the TV show ‘Love Your Garden’ starring Alan Titchmarsh. The wooden tepee made from pallet slats and reclaimed wood will appear on the ITV show at 8pm on Tuesday 23rd June 2015.
Just Wood made the tepee for the show back in March at the request of the show’s production team, and delivered it personally to Walsall to be installed in the garden being filmed.
The tepee wouldn’t easily fit into the garden, and had to be lifted over a wall – the film crew had to film it from different angles for the show, which meant the tepee was lifted over the wall about three times! It was a worrying time for the team, who had spent 3 weeks making it. Katy Wells and Del Acton accompanied the tepee to the garden, and were filmed installing it.
