Help us achieve our goals!
The success of the community wood recycling model is built upon the hard work and commitment of volunteers. Our member enterprises around the country are always delighted to hear from enthusiastic people from all walks of life who would like to help us in our mission to save precious resources and create jobs.
There’s always a wide variety of tasks that need doing at a community wood recycling enterprise – from collecting and preparing wood for sale, making wood products, or any of the multitude of other activities involved in running a small, busy business. Many of our volunteers go on to gain permanent paid jobs with an enterprise, but at the very least you’d be working with a group of like-minded people (in a place committed to environmental protection and social justice) and developing your confidence and self-esteem, and a range of useful transferable skills… and having some fun too.
So whatever your background, whatever your current situation and however much or little time you want to spend with us, we’d be very happy to hear from you. Find your nearest enterprise or email us and we’ll pass your details on without delay.
