Bristol Wood Recycling Project has raised the funds it needs to buy its new premises, hitting its £430,000 target in just a fortnight.
After 14 years trading at the historic Cattle Market, Bristol Wood Recycling Project now has keys to its new premise in William Street, St Philips. The project’s last day of trading at Cattle Market Road will be on Saturday 27th January,
Representatives of Bristol Wood Recycling met with staff at Crest Nicholson Regeneration’s site at Bath Western Riverside yesterday to present them with a certificate of recycling achievement, celebrating the site’s contribution of over 100 tonnes of wood waste recycled with with Community Wood Recycling.
With the redevelopment of the area around the Bristol Wood Recycling Project for the Bristol Arena, the project is on the lookout for a new location. Local magazine Bristol 24/7 meets with Bristol staff and volunteers to find out more.
