NCWRP has record year for saving resources

Last year our network of community wood recyclers made its biggest ever contribution to sustainability by rescuing more than 7,100 tonnes of wood from the waste stream. More than 20% of this huge amount was pushed up the waste hierarchy into re-use, saving carbon and helping to take the pressure off virgin timber. in addition, we provided more than 13,000 days of training and volunteering nationwide.
