Leeds Wood Recycling opened their doors to the public on Monday 17th September.  With an enthusiastic team of volunteers, they’ve been getting their wood store ready with a reclaimed wood counter and racks.  Based in an inner-city area of Leeds, they are will be offering training, support and opportunities to the local community, and providing a waste wood collection service for local businesses.

The project has already attracted a lot of attention in the area.  You can hear manager Charlie Stanley talking about their work on BBC Radio Leeds.
