Last year wood recyclers from around the country gathered in Brighton to celebrate our tenth birthday. This year we won’t be asking you all to travel so far, but will be repeating our regional meetings which were so effective in 2012. These meetings will take place in 4 or 5 conveniently situated enterprises up and down the country and will be an opportunity to discuss common issues, identify ways in which we can better support members and how members in each area can support one and other, learn from each other’s’ experiences and work together. We also want to think about how the relationship between us and members will evolve over time, and look at the future for Community Wood Recycling. We want to ensure that the enterprises across our network are secure and sustainable, and this means looking ahead to how the model will evolve over the next five years.
We will have a suggested timetable for the events in the next newsletter but in the meantime if you want to host one of the meetings please let us know.
